This cabinet is the largest solid mahogany cabinet I've completed so far. The cabinet walls are 5/8ths African mahogany and the baffle and back are 1/2 in baltic birch ply. The black finish was a special request of the customer. It's hard to tell in the photos, but although the cabinet is stained completed black, the grain of the wood still shows through. The cabinet has extremely fat low end and very edgy overdrive tone.
